Consider doing the Bible in a Year --it's an incredible learning tool that will give you a Catholic understanding of the scriptures and help to make sense of everything that makes people go "huh??" in the the Old and New Testaments.
For your prayer time this week -- Pray Lectio Divina with these Wonderful Gospel Passages that allow for lots of imagination and "entering into the scene" to make the story come alive
