Song of the Day

Day 5: Powerful song.  Hear Jesus singing to you and asking You to be His love.  Then do the prayer exercise in the Meet Your Maker Moment!

Daily Meet Your Maker Moment

Meet Your Maker Nightly Prayer Exercise:

1. Imagine that you die tonight during your sleep and stand before the Jesus.  Based on Matthew 25, hear Him walk through with you where you stand on each category.

2.  Hear Him call you by name as He enumerates those times that you loved Him in the "least of these" as He talks about in Matthew 25. Example: "Jessica, daughter, thank you for clothing me that day in 2014 when you offered your clothes to the woman in need. Thank you for feeding Me when....etc. etc." Or perhaps it will be Jesus saying that you have not fed, clothed, visited Him, offered Him drink or compassion in the poor.

3.  Picture Him showing you on a big screen the times that you loved others in His name well...and the times that you passed them by or did not.

4. Converse with Jesus about how He wants you to take steps forward in "doing for the least of these" so that you can hear a strong: "Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you before the foundation of the world.  For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, il and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me."

5. Ask for concrete steps, and write a resolution/action plan to live a Matthew 25 lifestyle.
